My son did well, and is pretty shy but after a year+ of online schooling he now can’t wait to go back to school. If anything, we learned last year just how much our previous school system was failing them. South Carolina, and if you see where we are generally ranked on education as a state, it probably makes sense.

I guess you could make some of these arguments if there weren’t a raging pandemic still going on and kids were vaccinated against it and parents weren’t getting violent over mask wearing. And kids who are opting out because of bullying aren’t necessarily benefiting from school socialization.
